Valentines Day Card Showing Homemade Glue Hearts

This card is one I completed so I could use the homemade glue drop hearts from an earlier post this past week.

I was happy with it.

My daughter and I made a bunch of these for her to hand out as Valentine's to her classmates. The hardest part was making sure the Cricut cut the image right in the center of the card. It took a few tries but we finally got it right.

The sentiment is stamped and embossed on the bottom of the card.

Sticky Memo Note Pads

I also saw these on Splitcoast Stampers and decided to try my hand at making my own designs.
Coasters were used as the sturdy background. I put coordinating paper on the background and the little binder clips.

Valentine Tic Tacs

I saw these on Split Coast Stampers and decided to try some of my own. These are made with the Jumbo size Tic Tacs.

Homemade Glue Dots

Here is my attempt at making some homemade glue dots from hot glue. This wasn't my idea so I can't take the credit, I did try making some other shapes and the hearts turned out pretty well I think. These were dried on a sheet from a used up sticker pack, then placed in a ziploc bag with die and dried again on a paper plate.

Dye I used was Adirondack, alcohol ink, acid free, quick drying, pearl, and copper, the red is something old I had on hand no name.

XOXO, Be Mine Photo Holders

More Valentine photo holders made from jumbo binder clips.

Valentine Photo Holder Binder Clips

Valentine photo holder, jumbo binder clips. Another idea for using the jumbo binder clips as Valentine photo holders, cute little added gifts for your loved one.

Very easy, CM cardstock, CM alphabet stickers, ribbon.

Get Well Wishes

This card was created using one of the JoAnn's $1.00 stamps, I just love the bargain hunting. Anyway this is for a dear friend who had surgery this past week.

Sentiment is SU, paper is DCWV, ribbon added for embelishment, and button is Heidi Grace which was alos on clearance at JoAnn's

Pink Heart

This card was simple but still special, these cards were purchased at Archivers in the 1.99 Hot Spot, (5 in the pack) the square is an open area so you can insert whatever theme you prefer. SU back ground border, heart was embossed and then crystal glaze added fof a 3-D affect. Pink card stock added to the inside for writing a special message.

From The Heart

Not the traditional colors for Valentine's Day, black and pale pink, I thought it was a new twist. Heidi Grace black chip board heart was the center of the card, SU sentiment, embossed, adhered with pop dots, black ribbon added for embellishment.

Fall Photo Holders

This is my take on the photo holders that have recently been in the photo galley on splitcoast stampers. The actual holders are made out of jumbo binder clips and adorned anyway you can imagine. My favorite is the ghost.

LOVE Hedgies

Cute little Valentine's Hedgies, I also love little hedge hogs, and any stamps I find with hedge hogs I just have to have.

The Hedgies are stamped, embossed, colored with watercolor pencils, and the hearts are adorned with crystal glaze. On the inside of the card I added a heart to coordinate with the one on the front of the card.

"Inspirational" Bible Verse Swap

These are the cards I made for the Bible Verse Swap, I think they turned out rather well, hope they are enjoyed by those who receive them. The Bible Verse was printed on a transparency and adhered with brads.

Stockings

Again I used the Cricut to cut the little stockings from different printed papers and then added stickles on the fur for added embellishment, adhered with pop dots for 3-D affect.
Just little gift enclosures.

Celebrations

These are a few examples of cards I recently made using my Cricut, which I have been enjoying. Sentiment is stamped and embossed, the cupcakes and ice cream cones are embellished with crystal glaze and stickles, and then adhered with pop dots. Very simple, and fun

Little One

I save everything since I started scrapbooking. As you can see from this layout I used the hospital bracelets from the birth of our daughter, the calendar page that was on the wall in my hospital room and then I had the nurse stamp our daughter's foot prints right on a page in my book. I love this layout because it has so many memories for us, again simple and easy...

Fun In The Snow

This is Michigan weather, we love it most of the time, but by March we are ready for sunshine. I used the Titletopia from CM to place the adhesive letters. Simple but fun and easy to complete.

Love You!

Just in time for Valentine's Day. Stamped and embossed, colored with SU watercolor pencils, and then Crystal Glaze is added to the petals of the flowers for 3-dimensional affect. backed with black card stock with pop dots and adhered onto a pink card.

Snuggle Bunny

I just love bunnies, I have a small collection, and Beatrix Potter is one of my favorite artists, when I saw this stamp I just had to purchase it. I used SU water color pencils for shading, and stickles are added to the cottontail for added bling.

Thanksgiving Card

This Thanksgiving Day card was lots of fun to create. The message inside was printed on a transparency from my PC and then adhered to card stock with brads.
